Arctic Monkeys Come Rockin' With New Single "Do I Wanna Know?"

This is going to be a song you are going to wanna know after all. (See what I did there?)

A couple days ago, I featured Franz Ferdinand's new singles "Right Action" and "Love Illumination." Today, we take a look at another popular Brit band, Arctic Monkeys. The group, led by frontman Alex Turner, is best known for their chart smashing album, "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not."Oasis fans probably best remember this as the only debut album in the UK to sell more copies than "Definitely Maybe."

"Do I Wanna Know?" is a rocker that will be featured on the Arctic Monkey's new album, AM, set to be released on September 9th. It is currently available to pre-order on itunes.

What do you think? As always, be sure to let us know in the comments and by taking part in our poll.

BONUS: Another song that will be featured on the new album will be "Mad Sounds." Have a listen to the Arctic Monkey's live performance of the song below.

Franz Ferdinand is Back With New Tunes

While I know this is an Oasis blog, I'll post about the newest music from prominent bands from time to time. Today we have the good fortune to listen to two new songs from the popular British band Franz Ferdinand. The indie group is best known for their breakout single "Take Me Out."

The new tunes, "Right Action" and "Love Illumination" were released yesterday via Youtube, and "Right Action" is available to buy on American itunes. They will be featured on Franz Ferdinand's new album, "Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action," coming out on August 26th.

Have a listen below. What do you think? Feel free to express you opinions in the comment section.
