Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds: A Better (And Shorter) Album Name?

(A Simple Game of Genius by Noel Gallagher)

As most of us already know, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Bird's most recent album, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, has been very successful, outselling both Beady Eye albums at this point. But is it just me, or is saying (or typing) Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds twice a bit of a mouthful? It gets annoying after a certain point, and it isn't a picnic for my fingers either. In fact, most people are just lazy (like me) and call it Noel's album.

I've given it some thought, and I'm fairly certain a better name should have used. I've come up with a couple ideas for names that I think would have been better choices, and you are free to do so as well in the comments. Without further ado, here they are:

To Fight Another Day
This makes sense in the fact that it comes up in two songs during the album. In "If I Had A Gun," Noel sings:
"Give you back the dream, show you now what might had been
If all the tears you cry would fade away (away, away, away...)
I'll be by your side, when they come to say goodbye
We will live to fight another day"
It can also be seen in the lyrics of "A Simple Game of Genius."
"Just the two of us broke up all the rules they made for us
Play a simple game of genius if you live to fight another day"
Now consider the meaning of the lyric. Oasis is over and dead (so he thinks). Noel's relationship with his brother Liam is all but ruined (so he thinks). Yet, despite all of the things that are ending, Noel continues to live to fight another day, and is able to pull off yet another stunning album. The message is clear. The whole album seems to revolve around this concept of "to live to fight another day." What better way for Noel to advertise to Liam and to the world that he's moving forward?

A Simple Game of Genius

First of all, I need to get something off of my chest. A Simple Game of Genius should have been one of the highlight tracks of Noel's album (See, I told you I do it!). Why it ended up as a bonus track on the deluxe version of the album makes me want to pull my hair out! One of the major reasons why this occurred was likely due to the length of the tune (over 7 minutes!!), but that didn't stop Champagne Supernova did it? Oh well...onto the real reason why I think this could have been a great album title is the meaning. Many Oasis fans look up to Noel as a "godlike genius" (which I personally believe is going WAY too far) and it sure seems like he believes them too. Why not title the album with a perfect the description of the man who created it? After all, a genius like Noel can make the game of songwriting seem oh so simple. That's all songwriting is to Noel, a simple game of genius...and it helps that he happens to be very good at it!

The Death of You and Me

A beautiful way to stick it to Liam. Originally rumored to be the name of Noel's first solo album, the song was one of the singles. While it may sound a gruesome and misleading, it captures the state of the brotherly relationship between Liam and Noel. It's over. Noel commits himself to "running from people who would be the death of you and me" (obviously Liam) and never looks back.

Well...those are my candidates. Please post your thoughts in the comment section, as well as other names you would have liked to have seen used. Also make sure to vote in the poll!
